All residential rental properties by Law require an annual Gas Safety Certificate; and this includes a check of all gas appliances within the property by a Gas Safe registered engineer to ensure they are safe to use and working correctly. Sometimes these are referred to as a Landlords Gas Safety Certificate.
The Gas Safety Certificate will tell you the gas appliance or gas fitting has been checked to see if it is working safely and meets the correct safety standards.
Gas Safety Certificates are required by Law because unmaintained and poorly serviced gas appliances can emit carbon monoxide which in extreme cases can be lethal and have caused deaths.

If additional works are required to bring the installation upto standard, we have a transparent and fair pricing policy so all customers know up front what the charges are and what the potential total costs will be. This includes:
- No call out fee (but one hour minimum charge)
- Half hour time slots - after the first hour additional time is charged per half hour slot
- Fair timing policy – if a job takes one hour and 5 minutes, because we would like you to refer us to your friends we will not be charging you for 1.5 hours.
